Outdoor first aid with Rob Wakuluk

In this workshop, Rob will cover common outdoor and wilderness injuries, along with strategies for managing them in austere environments. Topics will include fractures, sprains, and strains, as well as treatment protocols for these injuries. Rob will also discuss the essentials of backcountry first aid kits.  Participants will have the opportunity to practice hands-on techniques such as applying tourniquets, using splints, sealing chest wounds, and creating improvised traction.

Also touching on minor yet important topics like blister prevention and treatment, as well as ensuring safe drinking water
