So you've been out and put an animal on the ground - now what? How do you break it down, preserving the most amount of meat possible? How do you skin it ready for making a nice flat skin for the lounge at home?
If you have been struggling with the above answers, this workshop is for you! Richard and Leith are very kindly putting on a Butchery, Animal and Skin Prep.
Richard and Leith collectively have over 50 years experience with Butchery, Hunting and Animal Prep - so you are getting exposed to a wealth of experience and knowledge on all things animal prep that is hard to find anywhere else!
Richard will kindly be providing deer for processing, and attendees will have a front row seat to watch. They will cover; skinning a deer to preserve the skin for tanning, breaking down the animal into manageable cuts and muscle groups, as well as letting you know what cuts are best for what usage or cooking scenario.
They may even have some very tasty salami and sausages out for attendees to trial to top it all off!
