NZDA Auckland Branch march Club Night

*This club night is currently going ahead due to the auckland covid level 2*

Our March club night is just around the corner, cold drinks, steak sandwiches and a few good hunting tales to be told!

The meeting will start from 7.30pm at the Branch club rooms in Pt Chev

Meeting format:

• 7.00pm  Arrival & Introduction

• 7.30pm  Meeting Kick-off

• 7:45pm Branch update and Meeting

• 8:00pm Guest Speaker

This month we have Steve Blenkarne joining us. He will be speaking on rifle accuracy problems, symptoms and how to remedy. 

ABOUT STEVE: He has 43 years of involvement in the sporting firearms industry at both retail and manufacturing levels in NZ and Australia.

"I operated a gunsmithing shop on the North Shore from 1986 to 2000, when I moved to Mt Maunganui. I commenced manufacturing stainless steel rifle barrels in 1995 under the True-Flite brand name and achieved considerable success, exporting barrels around the world. Many national and international matches and records were won using my barrels. I also produced high-accuracy hunting and target rifles on a custom basis for eighteen years under the Pro Hunter brand name. I sold True-Flite in 2007 to a group based in Gisborne.

Currently I am retired but would be more than happy to contribute technical articles or discuss rifle accuracy issues with members on club nights or via the NZDA website (not via my personal email or phone)."
