Tonight's guest speaker is Dariush from Cazador Restaurant.
Dariush has been Cazador’s Owner & Head Chef for the past 8 years, after taking the restaurant over from his parents. In his spare time he enjoys deer hunting and duck shooting like the rest of us. Dariush was professionally trained in Auckland before cooking in Italy, Greece and London and can't wait to share his favorite recipes and his love of cooking game with us all. We are very lucky to have Dariush show us how he will prepare a Venison Terrine and will even try to provide a small sample for us many of us as possible on the night!
Cazador is a family owned and operated restaurant specializing in sustainable cooking. Their game based, free-farmed meats and fresh produce are sourced from New Zealand hunters and producers, and as a result they offer a short, seasonal menu which changes often to reflect supply. If you are looking for something a little different to do with friends and family, this should be an interesting club night to learn a little about the most hunter appropriate restaurant in Auckland! They offer a causal atmosphere with a menu that unique and our decor is one-of-a-kind. Try something different.
'Cazador' is Spanish for hunter, and the restaurant has been serving game since 1987!
