November Club Night

This month we have Dave Shaw as guest speaker at the 14 November Club Night. Dave is the man behind the Red Stag Timber Hunters Club series, and rather than being on the end of a rifle he will be talking about his experiences pulling the trigger of a camera on the well known hunting and fishing shows and documentaries he has been involved with.

Dave Shaw has 15 years of experience in TV production gained from both home and abroad. Prior to starting up The Hunters Club, Dave was the lead camera operator and head of post production on the ITM Fishing Show. It was through the show that Dave crossed paths with Dan Curley, and from there they decided that it was high time someone set out to show the general public exactly what makes hunting in New Zealand so very special.

David has worked throughout Europe and the US for major Discovery and History Channel series, as well as domestically on a range of high rating New Zealand sports shows. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Otago University which has enabled him to better understand the environment he is now working in.

Check out Red Stag Timber Hunters Club Season 3 episodes showing free to air on Prime TV kicking off Monday 30th October at 9.30pm

We are always on the lookout for new and interesting guest speakers, if you know anyone or have someone in mind you would like to see at our club as a guest speaker, maybe you are a guest speaker yourself or simply have an interesting and relevant idea that would merit an audience from our members.
